Firstly, when you see a patient especially one that is already struggling with poor health and can barely walk, and they present to you with a rash, usually as a good doctor you investigate and find out what is happening. You send the patient for tests or to a skin specialist, as a good doctor you don’t assume. Especially when they came and saw you multiple times for the same thing and you didn’t bother to investigate. However you failed to do this and refused to listen. When the patient went to see another GP, a competent doctor about the rash you failed to investigate, was an aggressive cancer and unfortunately has now taken that person’s life and it is too late. What’s more disturbing is when you were asked why you didn’t send them for a test, you got defensive and started yelling. You have been reported to the Medical Council and Legal Action is currently been taken even if your withholding the patient’s medical records.
